Wheelie School!

Clinton decided to finally use his birthday present from about 2 years ago! Which was a voucher for him to go and learn how to wheelie his motorbike..!

Not for the faint hearted might I add...

On the back of the instructor's bike, Clinton is having the time of his life...

I, on the other hand, was trying very hard not to think about dying a painful death!

I think my face says it all.



Clinton had a great time though and I made myself useful and took some snaps of his progress throughout the day...



Borough Market

A couple of saturdays ago we decided to go to have a walk about and some food in Borough Market.

It's one of my favourite markets in London and well worth a visit even if you don't intend to do your shopping there. Lovely, fresh produce and a wide variety of world foods, but essentially very British :)

Rovinj...

We got away for a short break recently and went to one of my favourite places in the world, Rovinj in Croatia.
It's a photographer's mini paradise with its stunning views and sunsets, coloured houses, fishing boats and old cobbled streets...

Homemade

Here are a few pics of my patchwork quilts, which have become my new love!

I've only done a few but I hope to start making lots more for people who love them too. They are all completely individual, one offs and are handmade. Can also be embroidered and made to specifications :o)

Wasn't planning on getting very into it but Regents St looked fab and there's been bunting and Union Jack flags everywhere, and I did end up watching it, it was quite lovely... :o)

Kenwood House

I woke up early on Easter Sunday feeling very restless, so decided to ride my scooter somewhere...

So I ended up here, in Hampstead Heath, well Kenwood House to be exact. Hadn't been here since I was a little girl, yet it's so close to where I live now. What a beautiful London park...

You can see how early in the morning it was because it's so hazy! But good light for taking some snaps! :o)

The Telephone Exchange

Such a lovely old building, still owned by BT and still in use as a Telephone Exchange. If only they were all still made like this one...

When I first saw this, I was immediately reminded of old episodes of Miss Marple on tv. So pretty and quaint, just like a tiny country village - in Cricklewood...

It's Finished!

Well, all my hard work and boredom has paid off and my first ever patchwork quilt is finished!!
I'm very pleased with myself as you can probably tell and I've been forcing everyone to look at it, as I am now doing with you : )
